idk if an alignment tool from a different company would work with SOS. if i were you i would stay on the safe side and use the SOS tool. contact them and see if they'll sell you one or ask if other alignment tool is compatibile. gl

I don't see how anyone's alignment tool would be any different from one another. I just installed my SOS clutch. The tool is just a plastic replica of the transmission's input shaft, but a little longer so that it will stab all the way into the crank for proper alignment.

I haven't done a clutch replacement on an S2000, but in years past I've used a cut-down wooden broom handle as a surrogate tool. Worked well, didn't cause any alignment frustrations when reinstalling the tranny. If you're caught without the right alignment tool, try that.

if you are still in a pinch.. find a deep socket that fits in the pilot bearing, then use electrical tape to tape the other end so that it fits snug in the clutch disk

The clutch alignment tool for a 90 to 97 Accord works fine. Get a cheap plastic one from Autozone

I think all alignment tools are standard. My father in law had one for his Corvette and it fit in mine just fine.
