The delay valve makes it a total PITA to manipulate the clutch properly.

*grrrrr*

I hate driving Jenny's MY07, and it's almost entirely because of that valve. One of these days I'm going to swap out her slave cylinder with one from an AP1.

/me hugs my AP1

its not that hard to do. I took the valve out in 10 minutes. Its the bleeding the clutch that took the longest its nice to have a solid grab instead of the slip. Even at casually driving. Its all about having the right tool, go to autozone or wherever and pick up one of those picks, it will help a lot

Not that hard to do?
Man, removing that o-ring was a total PITA for me.
I almost gave up after struggling with it for over 30 min.
and that's when my buddy gave it a last shot and it flew across the room into a huge pile of junks.
We spent like 10 min. carefully moving all the stuff we had in the shop to find that ring.
It's very simple, but not easy IMO.
I wonder how you guys do it so easily. maybe I didn't have the right dental pick for it.
Anyways, good luck with it.

the right dental pick is key. I got my at kargen or something. Its a heavy duty one. It only took me 2 min to pop that o-ring out. Once you get underneath it, it will come off easy.

It's too much work using the picks. I've given up and use the smallest drill bit possible to make a tiny hole on the inner side of the cylinder then push the ring out. Got the procedure down to about 30 mins including flush.
