Default Clutch drag?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get your feedback on a possible issue I am having with my S2K. I am noticing that sometimes when I shift, I feel a slight "scratching" sensation when I am lifting my foot off of the clutch. Is this normal? The car has about 26,000 miles. I don't think I've noticed this before but I don't drive the car much. Perhaps, I'm just more sensitive/anal now. LOL. I don't think I am shifting wrong and I don't think I've changed the way I shift from before. Thoughts?

It only happens when the car is running and switching gears. I've already greased up the slave a couple of months ago. Pretty smooth when not running.

Could be signs of a bad slave.

If it was the slave, shouldn't it act the same with the car on or off? This only happens when the car is on.

I have a bad slave, when it first started going, it would feel fine with the car off, like normal. When I turned the car on, there was a lot of free play, felt mushy and grinded the gears or wouldn't let me get in gear.
