Default Clutch fork concern

I am working on putting everything back together after replacing my clutch. However, the clutch fork will sit in the keeper like it is supposed to, but I feel like it pulls back out too easily. I have even replaced the metal clip inside the keeper and yet it still seems that the fork comes out too easily. Am I just being too paranoid about this? I hate to button everything back up and have not corrected this, if it's a problem.

My thoughts are that it will be fine when the slave and everything is hooked back up, but just want to be sure.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

When I put mine back together the clutch fork would come out extremely easily to the point where it was frustrating... I think you're OK but should wait for someone else to chime in.

As a sanity check, just confirm the receiving ball pivot is not deformed or worn down. There's plenty of preload from the slave cylinder to keep things in-tact.

Great info guys! Thank you!

This makes me feel better about proceeding with putting everything back together.

Thanks again!

After I got the clutch changed, I had to get the transmission opened again because of the fork, it made a weird noise and pedal felt wrong.
Its 60 on Majestic Honda so really not that expensive. Also check the release bearing guide for wear(30$), which in my case is the reason to open it 3rd time.

This dude on youtube somewhat shows it, mine was a little bit worse than that, and it had wear on the pivot point.
