Clutch going out?

Clutch going out?
Hey guys,
Have an 02 S with about 87k miles on it. Just this weekend I started noticing what I would consider my clutch slipping and wanted to see if anyone could confirm if my clutch is beginning to go out.
I only notice the slipping in the low RPM range - typically between 1k - 3k RPM. Usually I am either in 1st or 2nd gear. (I have been driving my car extra softly as of late because I just replaced my differential so I am still breaking it in)
The slipping occurs once my car seems to be fully in gear and as I press on the gas to accelerate. It will seem to studder or slip for a little bit and once the RPM range is above 2.5k - 3k the slipping stops and I can drive off as normal.
Ahh- Just remembered something else - Another interesting thing I noticed a few weeks back was very low tranny fluid. I actually was having issues getting my car into gear (I literally couldnt shift into gear) and there was a day or so when my clutch wouldnt depress properly/entirely. I topped off the fluid and the issue seemed to go away after riding for a day or so. The low (loss of) fluid might be a symtom of a clutch issue as well.
I have read about shudder/hesitation/bucking and I do not beleive this is the same thing. However, my diff was just replaced and my tranny fluid as well so if either of those may have changed the characteristics of the sudder/bucking then I am all ears. I have only put about 120 miles on my car with the new differential so it sorta seems all too coincidental that I am noticing this now but I certainly suppose the clutch has enough wear on it to need replacing as well.
If you have any other tests or suggstions on how I can diagnose if my clutch truly is on the outs... please let me know. I am trying to get my car into the shop on my terms this time around

ok, by 'topping off fluid' are you talking about the CLUTCH fluid or TRANSMISSION fluid? If youre talking about clutch fluid, you most likely have a master cylinder thats going bad. IF its transmission fluid, I have no idea. by 'shuddering' what do you mean? If youre cruising at 4-5K rpms, and punch the throttle, will it slip? If it doesnt, its not your clutch.

yep. if it's low then it's leaking. look on the MC piston inside the firewall.
