Clutch Install
Hello Everyone.... looking for some advice. My clutch is shot, 2002 year. I can barely accelerate. Brought it to honda dealer and they want $2100.00 to fix.
1200 just in labor. rattled off a bunch of parts i need, flywheel, pressure place, disc. Some background, I'm decent under the hood, not much experience but not too bad. Have a friend who is alittle better than myself. If I were to buy a service manual is this possible to do myself??? Has anyone ever done this? Easy as following... step 1 do this, step 2 do this??
Thanks all!!

Lots of people have done this in their own garages. It's even written up in a thread at the top of Under the Hood in the FAQs.
ps. This doesn't belong in Technical. Please read the stickies at the top of each forum for specific information on what and what not to post.

I've done it close to 20 times. Get the manual, follow it step by step, take your time. Allow 2 or 3 nights to do it up.
It will require a very decent amount of tools, and good wrenching skills. It's more time consuming than difficult.
There of lots of us that can sell you a complete clutch kit for 100-350 bucks, as we get aftermarket stuff.
