Default Clutch install

I'm looking at replacing my clutch soon, and was curious as to how easy/difficult it was to do this on your own?

For those that have done this recently or have done multiple clutch installs in the S2K, is it too adventurous for me to try and do this?

You have to drop the front sub frame and motor down 3". So while this can be done at home on Jack stands. It is not one of the easier DIY jobs. Check the FAQ posted at the top of the forum for a DIY How To.

Book time for this job is about 8 hour.

Hardest thing I've done as as well. I used jack stands, which made the job much more miserable.

This is not a job for someonw who has never done clutch job before. 8 hrs is using all the air tolls and a lift. I did this alone on my back, paid attention to detail and was around 20hrs.

If you are more mechanically inclined it won't take as long.
First time for me took 6 hours, 2nd time was 2 and a half...

that doesn't sound too bad. you guys haven't done a clutch install until you do one on an Evo. i've done many engine swaps and clutch install on fwd hondas but i almost gave up on the Evo. i even had to call my dad for backup (mechanic for 40 years). i plan on replacing the clutch on the S in winter. i might even have access to a lift which should make life a little easier. i was going to build 2 huge ramps to drive the car on.
