Default Clutch issue

When I was driving around today my clutch suddenly became very loosing feeling. The pedal has become very soft and seems to have lost all resistance till the very end when the clutch finally catches. Any idea what could have caused this and how I can go about fixing it?

Sounds to me like you have air in your lines, maybe from a blown or worn out seal. How's the level in the resevior? How many months/miles on your fluid? I'd look under the car and see if you have a leak anywhere. The 'Suddenly' part is sort of odd, maybe you res. got low and gulped air, or you've blown a seal somewhere.

I had a similar problem with my 04... My clutch didn't feel right at all. It wasn't gripping right. Then one day on my way home from work, the clutch pedal went down and didn't come back up! I was stranded on a hill in rush hour with nowhere to push the car to...

Anyway, when the dealer eventually got around to looking at the car it was determined that it was due to a failure in the hydrolics. They fixed it under warranty (after almost 2 weeks in the shop)... For what it's worth, my clutch still isn't right. My advise is to take in to the shop now.

...right now.

I got the same problem with mine. I bought the car brand new, and I always felt my clutch pedal was really stiff. I used to Sell Honda's, and all the other s2000's I drove had a really soft clutch pedal. After so many hard launches, and a couple track days, my clutch went out on me at 8K miles. The car was under warranty, but Honda said that my haders and carbon fiber hood indicates that my car was used for racing... Anyways' they offered to pay half of the repair cost. I spent a thousand dollars to put a new stock clutch to keep my warranty intact. Now I have 19K miles and my clutch won't engage till the very end. This time around I never took it to the track, no hard launches; pretty much took it to work and back. I wonder if my clutch is out again, or is it something else. Also my differential clicks when I take off. My warranty is also out now, but is there any way Honda would still cover it; I had heard something about a clutch recall. If not, what's a good clutch to buy for 90% street use.

check your clutch fluid...is it dirty or do you have enough? maybe you have a fluid leak and need to replace the master cylinder? who knows.

fluid definitely is nasty, resivior was low so i topped it off with a new honda dot3 break fluid, but still seems weak, so im gonna try bleeding and flushing with new fluid next to see if that fixes the problem.

so whats that? a flushing out of brake fluid or clutch fluid, i dont get it? cause im having the same problem, i dropped into seconds and my car just didnt wanna catch the gear, it just revved out and slowly picked up. if i take it easy, it seems fine, im thinkin i have to replace the clutch altogether, but hopefully theres a cheaper alternative.

My cluth usually enganged almost immediately, and now it's all the way at the end. Could a clutch flush bring it back to normal? Also, If I'm going to flush my brakes and clutch, which one should I do First?

Is it possible that my clutch just needs to be adjusted? If so, Is it easy to adjust it, like on a motorcycle?
