Default clutch issue

i have an 01 ap1 with 58k on it. i just replaced the master cyl and slave cylinder about 800 miles ago. my clutch grabs really high and i dont know if this is normal or not. right after i replaced both master and slave it grabbed hard about an inch and a half off the floor(perfect) but not 800 miles later-maybe 1k later its back to up top again. really high, clutch doesnt slip in any gears. not from a stop nor from a launch either. shouldnt my clutch be grabbing an inch off the floor all the time?

If you have replaced the CMC then adjusting the engagment point is pretty easy. There is a locking nut on the shaft from the clutch pedal to the piston. Loosen the nut and turn the shaft to adjust it. Don't turn it more then say a half a turn at a time and then check it. There should be about on inch of play at the top of the pedal. If you adjust it to far it will mess up the clutch itself so take it easy.

You might also want to rebleed the system while you are at it.

theres a bolt behind the blutch u can twist to adjust. there are post with pictures too without spending too much time on the search button.

I have a 02 which grabs pretty high.

my friends 00 grabs REALLY low. i honestly liked driving with lower engagement.

anyhow, i've heard that adjusting the clutch might not be the best thing, especially when it comes to replacing your clutch. something about the alignment or something i dont remember. can anyone clarify?
