Any idea what clutch it was? Any markings on it?

• The clutch was a exedy stage 1. The throw out bearing I don’t know can’t see any markings.

 

Make sure to stay away from Exedy clutches on the S2000

 

I don't think Exedy makes a stage 1 for the S2000.

Buy a factory clutch set, bearings, sleeve, grease, and any other necessary parts from a Honda dealer.

Exedy isn't the only one that makes a clutch set that doesn't work for this car. Aftermarket is almost all junk.

This type of failure is common from aftermarket parts.
