Default clutch kit components

Hey all, I'm trying to compile a list of the components that would be necessary to get my clutch replaced at the mechanic. Trying to save a few bucks by ordering my own parts, instead of having the mechanic buy them. I was initially going to go with the Exedy OEM clutch kits available on the internet for around $350 or so, but it seems like buying OEM parts from hondaautomotiveparts.com is probably a better idea. Assuming I will get my flywheel resurfaced, can you guys let me know if there is anything I need to add (or remove) from this list?

1) Friction Disk (22200-PCX-055) - $110.92
2) Pressure Disk (22300-PCX-015) - $224.92
3) Clutch Release Bearing/Throwout bearing (22810-PCY-003) - $94.65
4) Pressure Plate to Flywheel Bolts/9 of them (90034-689-000) - $4.04x9=$36.36
5) Flywheel to Crank Bolts/8 of them (90011-PCX-B01) - $3.16x8=$25.28

Total: $492.13

Again, not sure if everything on that list is necessary, so let me know. Also, if I'm wrong in assuming that ordering these parts separately from hondaautomotiveparts.com is better than getting the KHC06 Exedy OEM clutch kit, let me know as well.

Thanks.

you can reuse your flywheel and PP bolts, buy new drive shaft bolts instead

if you are reusing your flywheel buy a new flywheel pilot bearing

^^^this. bolts should be fine, but the pilot bearing will keep the input shaft from flopping around. Not sure how much they are on the S, but should be pretty cheap!

pilot is ~$14. no reason not to at that price. Do not do the exedy oem replacement. I picked one up a few weeks back and the springs were loose and rattled when shaken. Sent it right back and just ordered the oem disk from honda. Also only use honda bearings. The other manufactures tend to go bad quicker.

Thanks for the responses guys. For the flywheel pilot bearing, would it be part# 91006-PCX-008? Link is: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...atcgry5=CLUTCH

Also, can any of you tell me what the part number for the driveshaft bolts are, and how many I would need?

Lastly, I see that there is a washer listed on the clutch system (90429-PCX-000). Is that necessary?

In summary, sounds like this is what I need:

1) friction disk
2) pressure plate
3) throwout bearing
4) flywheel pilot bearing
5) driveshaft bolts
6) possibly washer?

You can reuse your existing washer (90429-PCX-000)

If you are replacing the throw out bearing (which you should) you should go ahead and replace the throw out bearing guide as it is likely scored up. Its like $26 but worth it. Mine was all scored up and rough when I replaced my clutch. Part number is 21103-PCY-003.

FWIW I reused my driveshaft bolts too.
