Default Clutch Master + Clutch Click

The more I drive the car, the better it is beginning to feel which also means the more nuances I'm beginning to notice.

1. The clutch pedals is slighty sticking when i let off, how does one remedy this?

2. The clutch Master where the rod sticks into the hole seems to have some black grease build up. I'm not sure if that's "normal" or if that might be a sign of a bad clutch master. I bought this car used at 21k miles and have already flushed out the clutch once. I think it was always greased up when I got it, can someone let me know if it should be sparkly clean all the time?

3. This might be due to my unfamiliarity with manual cars. When i push the clutch pedal to the floor, its followed by a very feint "click" sound from almost where the slave cylinder is. The timing of this is maybe 1/2-1 second after I depress the clutch to the floor. Same happens when I release the clutch. Almost sounds like a switch going on and off. What is this clicking sound and is it suppose to have that much of a delay coming off the clutch? Almost sounds like that's when the clutch plate gets released?

Master cylinder needs to be replaced, and there is a write up for polishing the plate where the rod pushes into the slave cylinder, which is probably where you feel the notchinesss and hear the click from.

Does anyone recommend replacing the clutch slave at the same time? I figure i might as well if I'm going through the hassle already?
