Default Clutch problem

My clutch engagement point keeps giving out on me. Right after i bleed the clutch, it seems nice and touchy; however, after a few months it starts to give out. Any ideas?

I'd say it means you have a bad master or slave cylinder.

I interpreted his comment to mean "clutch works after a fresh bleed then slowly stops working".

Yep, clutch works fine after a fresh bleeding. But there after, slowly loses sensitivity. Second owner of car, so i dont know which clutch it is.

Mine feels great after a flush and releases low or near the middle, but after a coupe of months the release point slowly creeps up and ends up almost at the top. I thought I might have a really worn clutch, but no slippage and after the flush it feels brand new for a couple months. I've been trying to change the fluid every other oil change, it seems to get gunked up pretty fast. Being such a small amount in there it has to deal with a lot of heat and gets contaminated quick I think.

Now this is a much better description of the problem, instead of just saying "it's starts to give out" (whatever that means). Your master or slave clutch cylinder is leaking fluid past the plunger. You may or may not see this fluid leaking out as it may contain itself within the cylinder. A new cylinder is the answer. The big obstacle is to figure out which one is leaking.

Better than hearing I need a new clutch, but still not so great. Any tips on figureing out which one? When I was just under there I didn't see any signs of leakage, but since I know it might be there now I can look a bit closer and maybe spot some on one of them or something. Not too hard to change these out, are they? $$$?
Thank you!

I think the part is the expensive part. I dont see my fluid getting any less than when i first bled it.

standard63, how many miles do you have on your vehicle?
