Is it possible (or needed?) to link this to the FAQ?
Some great info + pics here.

Finally, a fix to this dreaded problem. I think this post should be the first thing in all the FAQs etc. This is too common a problem for others to have to suffer through. Imagine, just changing a clutch causes this much grief. Is there something different in the design of the S's clutch assembly? How come this never happened with my Civic SiR?????

Thanks dbzerk.

If they followed the service manual exactly as it is written you shouldn't have a problem... In there it will tell you exactly where to apply high temp grease..

I'm thinking about (no.. I'm going to do that tomorrow) to lube as much as I can reach through the hole where the clutch fork pivots.

Billman250 Posted: Dec 5 2006, 03:33 AM
Pull the slave, disengage the fork, reach in there with a coat hanger with a small tic-tac sized blob of grease.
That is whay I'm going to do.
What does "disengage the fork" mean?
I'm trying to "go in" as prepaired as possible
