Just talked to my mechanic who is in touch with Honda. Apparently its common when you Put in an aftermarket performance clutch. It has to do with the spring rating in the clutch disc. I hope this helps relax you I know it did me.

Hence the reason to stay with an OEM disc.

Best setup:

flywheel: ACT, comptech, toda, or stock

ACT pressure plate

OEM disc and bearings

Guaranteed to be bulletproof, handle 550 HP, NO BUZZ, and totally driveable.

It's the only setup I'll allow my customers to run and they all love it.

I've had mine (comptech FW, ACT PP, oem disc) for 75k miles.

I obviously haven't heard anyone else's car. so I don't know what yours sounds like. However, to hear that "your car sounds like a P.O.S. but that's normal for a Honda" didn't make me feel much better.

Live with the noise until you can't stand it any longer, then replace it with a new OEM disk. Billman 250 has replaced 25 with no problems; surely some of those have a lot of miles on the new clutch by now.

The alum flywheel may be amplifying the buzz, caused by the disc.

yep oem all the way.. for the most part

the ACT pressure plate.. is that much stiffer than oem? for when i need a new clutch kit

also i have an 06 and plan on keeping the clutch delay so would going to ACT do much even if i keep the clutch delay or should i just go all OEM.. which i prefer anyways but dont mind stepping it up with combos of oem and after market

Buzzing From the Engine or Transmission While Decelerating
(Supersedes 00-054, dated March 20, 2001)
SYMPTOM
While decelerating in 3rd or 2nd gear, a buzzing or
rattling comes from the engine or transmission
between 4,000 and 3,000 rpm. This noise sounds
similar to a heat shield rattle, and it goes away if you
press lightly on the accelerator pedal or disengage the
clutch.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Gear backlash in the transmission.
BACKGROUND
Clearance between transmission gears (backlash) is
normal and sometimes audible. In an S2000, this noise
is more noticeable since the transmission is between
the seats instead of up front in the engine
compartment. When the vehicle decelerates, its
weight, together with the pulses from the engine,
excites the transmission gears, causing them to buzz
or rattle.
The four springs in the clutch disc hub act as a damper.
The clutch disc listed in this service bulletin is an
improved version of the countermeasured disc
released a year ago. Extensive testing has shown it to
be quieter than any previous S2000 clutch discs.
If your customer had the previous clutch disc installed
but still complains of deceleration noise, install the
clutch disc listed in this service bulletin.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the clutch disc with the improved clutch disc.
PARTS INFORMATION
Clutch Disc: P/N 22200-PCX-055, H/C 6855126
