Default Clutch Problems (Slave Cylinder?)

So I took my car to class yesterday and the clutch was perfectly fine. About 6 hours later after work and the gym (located next door to my job) I came out and started my car. I immediately noticed the clutch had A LOT of play at the top of it. I drove it home and the clutch engaged perfectly fine, didn't slip out of gear at all. This leads me to believe the slave cylinder is the culprit. Also i should note that it seemed like the clutch was engaging a little closer to the floor then usual. What do you guys think could be the issue?

UPDATE:
I finally got around to checking out this issue when i got home today. Looks like its actually the CMC, it's leaking fluid.

Sorry for the quality it was kind of an odd picture to take.

Thanks for any and all input.

-John

Check Fluid to see if it is low or dirty, then try a bleed of the fluid.

Thanks! I do it right after work. Say the fluids low, it could still be a leak in the slave cylinder because it shouldn't lose fluid, correct me if I'm wrong.

Looks like you were right. Should i still try to bleed them first or just change out the CMC?

I flushed the fluid then bled the air out and the clutch if fine...actually better then when I got it back in October. Cmc no longer drips just had clumpy fluid with some air in the system. Glad I tried that before replacing the cmc saved me a hundred bucks and a lot of time. Thanks for the diy on bleeding the fluid!
