Hello,

I understand now that when pushing the clutch pedal down and pushing the gas and letting the rpm rise at the same time.. you get this burning smell. I just realized that I am burning the clutch...

So.. now I call the honda dealer up.. asked them what it would cost me to replace my OEM clutch.. and he said 1800 dollars!!!! Then I asked what the value of the clutch part was.. and he said 220 dollars.. So installation/labor actually costs 1600 dollar????

Anyone have replaced their clutch yet? How much was your installation? I think that 1600 dollars is a rediculous price for labor.

I had the clutch and pressure plate changed under warranty. My dealer says that it would have cost me $1500!

They only listed 5.5 hours to do the job. I can't imagine that parts costing over $350-$450.

That's right, it takes 5.5 hrs to do the job !
