Clutch Replacement Due?
Well 2-3 months ago I adjusted my clutch pedal to best fit my driving style because it wasn't in "the sweet spot" everytime (especially 2nd gear). Now I'm starting to feel the same jerkyness (if thats a word) again. I have to hold and release the clutch at a lower point than usual to prevent any kind of sudden jumps to make me feel like a noobie driving in the streets. From what I can tell the clutch pedal is lower which I did raise a little when I re-adjusted it. Is this a sign that I need to replace my clutch? My00 S has 75k miles and it's still on the original loud buzz clutch.
This happened to me in my Integra GSR. When I changed the clutch, I found a loose friction plate spring in the housing. When it comes to clutches, the friction surface, bearings, and springs will pretty much start to fail around the same time so you should look into getting a new one.
It seems that most of the early AP1's input shafts and throwout bearings were under greased from the factory you could also try this clutch fork grease points
