I just rolled over 45,000 miles on my S2k yesterday, and I noticed a squeak that is happening when I push the clutch in. i can only hear this when I'm in the garage, or when I have the radio off when I first start up the car.

The odd thing is, this doesn't always happen. It kind of feels like there is a slight sticking when I mash the clutch, and that seems to be when the squeak occurs. There is NO way I need a new clutch, because this one still catches perfectly by barely touching the clutch pedal.

I just called and had my 45,000 mile tune-up setup for this coming Thursday morning, so I do get my car serviced whenever it's needed per the owner's manual.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Do the clutch just need some lubrication, adjustment, or what?

ive posted 2 threads with similar problem as you..i couldnt really find the answer yet, still living with the squeak and sticking.

try the DIY threads, and do the steps that are written there, you might get lucky.

please let me know if you found a solution for it.

I found the plunger ball on the clutch slave cylinder on my car had a dimple on it (either from manufacturing or a weird wear pattern) so I just smoothed it off with a dremel. Greased, reassembled, and no noise since.
