Default Clutch sticking after heavy rain

So was driving home after it rained heavily, drove through a pretty flooded area.
Anyways, the next day, I feel my clutch is sticking at the initial engagement point.
Sticking as in actually being stuck and I have to break it free at the engagement. I also notice that the higher the engine is revving, the harder it is to break free when I push the clutch in.
I have greased the fork before in the transmission after removing the boot with the honda hi temp grease. Just curious what I should be looking for when I get back under my car? Thank you guys

On my phone so can't find the link but search for the sticky clutch fix thread. You need to pull the clutch fork and polish/regrease it

Aftermarket clutch kits have been known to fail prematurely, especially the release bearings and then later the clutch discs. Is your clutch slipping? Can you still push your pedal all the way down? Can you get into gear?

Its unlikely that the transmission is at fault. Possibly clutch failure or install issue (leading to glazing friction disc).

Its the disk. A spring has fallen out. All Exedy clutches fail this way, usually after 20k miles or so.

Don't make the same mistake again.

Honda disk
Honda release bearing
Honda pilot bearing
Honda or Act pressure plate

If you didn't replace the release bearing guide last time, do that now.

My clutch does nothing but slip and it happened quickly. Clutch still goes in all the way. Can still put it in gear.

honda disk is what failed in the first(defective) place but still seems like the best route.
Is the release bearing also called the throwout bearing? I did have that replaced and have a spare.

Could be a poorly adjusted clutch master cylinder (installer error) or possibly improper break in... Hmm. How hard do you drive?
