Default Clutch stiffness

My s2k has a stock clutch, and stronger springs is what I was told??????? Anyways. The car has a greddy kit and makes 293/188 to the wheels. The clutch has never slipped yet, but the clutch pedal is getting stiff in the last inch or so of the pedal travel. It happens after 10 minutes or so of driving, not even hard driving. Is this the signs of a bad clutch cable or ????

Difficult to say, but one thing is for sure, it's not the cable! S2000's don't have a clutch cable it's operated by hydraulics. I'll have a guess that it might be the clutch release bearing sticking on it's guide. Dust from the wear of the pressure plate could have made the grease thick/dry or the clutch installer may not have used any grease and that's why it's getting stiff. Or it could be a problem with you hydraulic master/slave cylinder. Whatever it is it sounds like you're going to have it looked at sooner or later and you may have to have the tranmission removed to resolve the issue. Let us know how you get on.

How is your clutch pedal adjustment? If the pushrod is too long it can make the pedal quite stiff. Just throwing it out there as easy, quick and free to check. Do a search on how to adjust it. Easy...
