Default code: p2138

my cel light keeps on coming on with this code sometimes when i wash it.

now today it rained and same thing the cel light came back on i usually just clear the code and it fixes but today i didn't go away at all
stayed on with no power at all the car in limp mode i even had to leave inside our warehouse at our office because it didn't have no power what can it possibly be?

i already replaced the pedal position sensor so idk if its that AGAIN.

this is the second time the cel light turns on once when i washed it and today that it rained.

what can it be?
should i just take it to the honda dealer

p2138 -Accelerator pedal position (app) sensor 1/2 (throttle position sensor D/E) incorrect voltage correlation

engine light came on and my both VSA lights came on and it got to like limp mode no power at all...

I'm not an expert in car diagnostics but I believe the first recommendation here (which you probably already did) will be to thoroughly clean the battery terminals with one of those terminal wire brush things.

Can you clarify "I usually just clear the CEL"? How long have you had the issue?

Utah

well i got this issuw about a month ago so i went out and bought the pedal position sensor got it replaced the car went back to normal..

a couple of weeks later i washed it and same thing happen again check engine light vas lights on and on limp mode.

so i took it to a mechanic gave it a look he didn't find anything wrong so he cleared the code and the car went back to normal intill yesterday morning it rained real hard and the same thing happen again and this time i just left my car at the office in our where house because it was in limp mode and it is still siting there and idk what it can be ?

i do have a mugen hood witch has the vents maybe water go in there ?? but I'm still lost if the pedal position sensor is coverd..

Sounds like maybe moisture is getting in your throttle body connector.

you could fill a windex bottle (or any misting spray bottle) with water and spray components one at a time to see if you can single out your offender. just a suggestion...

good luck
