Default coilover hitting up a-arm

hey guys.

anybody ever have this issue in the front? i cant lower my car much more due to the fact that the spring and perch will be resting on the a-arm.

is this common?

btw coils are the new ARK PERFORMANCE stp with no helpers.

-Nick.

It only happens when its jacked up and fully extended? When u lower the car down it shouldnt touch anything.

What is your setup? Springs (rate/length) and shocks?

I ran into this issue which limited lowering with 10" springs. I now run 8" with take-up springs up front and have no issue.

Here's a photo before lowering. The take-up springs do expand when the car is jacked up now.

random-
i have the new ARK performance ST-P coilovers with the helper springs removed. they look similar to how yours are in clearance to the a-arm.

my idea now is to bring the spring all the way up as high as i can and then spin the bottom section up, the part that bolts to the lower arm can also be spun on the threads.

does this make sense? is there a way to adjust something so the coilover is on a larger angle?
