Ok, install done.
I stuck the rears in with the short adjustor knobs on them already, they stayed just fine. Hood doesn't close with the longer adjustor knobs, plus if they did fall off they'd fall out of the car, so took those off and stuck them in the center console for adjustments if necessary.

I set the car up at 62mm front preload and 35mm rear preload. Here are the results.

From a street drive, I really really like these coilovers. I probably need to raise the car as it's a bit too low, but with my rolled fenders and 18" wheels, no rubbing so far. (but they didn't rub before, either)
They are very well damped, they are stiff but never overly rough. for comparison I've had JRZ singles, Penskes, Tein Flex, with a variety of spring rates on each... these are the best street ride, especially over large bumps. (the JRZs were better over small stuff)
The bottom bump adjustment is a bear to get to, the rears you can do from under the car, and the fronts too, but you'd really need to crank the wheel in the front. Don't really like the design of that, but luckily, it's low speed bump, so it won't make a huge difference in ride... hopefully won't have to adjust it much. I went with the recommended settings for the street. Will probably need a bit more rear rebound for the track.
will report back after I take them on the track.

pics don't work??
I have KW V3s also. IIRC, they came pre set to the factory recommended settings. I haven't messed with my damping adjustments at all, really.
I track my car also, and these are an awesome dual duty coilover. I can drive to and from the track in peace and tear it up while I'm out there.
I never really had much trouble with the LR shock tower area. Maybe because my fingers are slender and beautiful. I also have a little magnet pick up tool. It's a magnet on the end of a flexible pipe/hose.

Someone fix the pics please. I have mine on the way and I would very much appreciate if I have pics to work with my install.
Thanks.
