Coilover newb question

Default Coilover newb question

Alright so I just got used H&R coilovers. My question is does this rubber bushing broken or is it suppose to be like this..

nope thats bad. those are call ed bump stops. gotta replace those.

Thats what I thought.. You think my old struts have the same bump stops as seen below? I tried searching for a new one.. but no luck.

Your stock shocks also have them. You may have to cut them shorter to use with your coilovers.

never ever shorten a bump stop, they are to limit the travel of the shock so they dont blow out instantly.

Check the instructions for the coilover. Some of them will tell you to cut the bumpstop, reuse your stock bumpstops, or use the provided bumpstops. Follow the instructions for your coilovers.
