Default Cold Air Intake System

What can be done to "turn off" engine emission control light following recent installation of K&N-57-3514 cold air intake system on my '05 S2K? Or, is there a similar or better system that doesn't create this problem?

I expect it's an incorrect vacuum line. Check you connections.

You have a cold air intake on a blown car? (This is the Forced Induction forum.)

But as Aus said, this is the most common mistake when instaling a CAI. Look here:

What can be done is that you fix the problem, rather than pretending that a problem doesn't exist. You have a CEL for a reason. Please read the CEL sticky at the top of the forum.

Yup. And now, I've upgraded to the super duper 120 lumens lamp. Only lasts a total of 20 minutes but worth every minute.
