Default Cold start rattle. Scares me. Heeeeeelp.

This only happens when the car sits overnight and it's in the 60s outside. After like 20 seconds or so, the noise goes away. You'd never hear it if you don't pop the hood. Anybody know what's going on?

Excellent sound example of TCT; someone should link that video in a TCT sticky!

I did another valve adjustment and made damn sure it was perfect. Still makes the noise. I thought the tct noise was only when the engine was warm?? After like 20 seconds it goes away as you can hear in the video. I'll be blasting my tct soon (as soon as I can get the bolt for it) and I'll let you know how it goes. Ive been stubborn as hell when somebody tells me it's the tct just because that's the go-to answer for anything s2000 engine noise related, but it's worth a shot. Could it also be the starter sticking?

This is not a guess, your noise is tct I assure you. For you to have noise at that rpm and pressure, sandblasting will not help. I have a permanent fix in my sig above...

He's probably gonna be happy when he gets a new tct installed because the noise will be gone, but damn pissed off it was actually the tct lol.

^^^ Yep. I was trying so hard to not let it be what EVERYBODY told me it was and I ignored.

Billman, I'll be ordering one of yours I guess. You are the expert when it comes to this... Thanks for the insight.
