If you think your exhaust is too loud Comptech has inserts you can install to quiet it down. They are about 5-6 inches long and slide in the rear and butts up against the narrower part of the tip. I believe the cost is around 20 each but well worth it if you want to get rid of the that low rpm boomy sound. You will need to drill a hole in the inner part of the exhaust...it only takes about 10 minutes to do the install.

I love my Comptech Exhaust... If I wanted quieter, I would have left it stock (since exhausts really don't give any HP)

I believe you may lose a couple hp but nothing drastic.

So in other words you would have spent $1198 dollars on a mod that produces a 3 HP gain, but a throatier sound. Oh wait you just muffled the sound and just got rid of the performance gain. So in other words you spent $1198 for the stock exhaust! Huh? I don't get it.

actually turbo i get an additional 8-10hp to the wheels over stock exhaust and SC with Comptech exhaust and SC (dyno proven) And yes I muffled the sound because it was way too loud for what I wanted. So, sorry if spending MY MONEY was a problem for you. Besides, this post was not about spending money or performance gains, I just thought I would share some info for those that have Comptech Exhaust and wanted a little quieter sound.
