comptech FPR install questions

Default comptech FPR install questions

when i tried putting the fpr and the bracket, some kind of a wire harness covered by a black rubber boot is in the way what am i supposed to do with this. Remove and zip tie it off somewhere?

The answer in NO, You do not need to relocate anything that is in the way, I don't know if you are referring to the black box that has 2 large cables going into it or the bracket that holds the cable, those are the only 2 things that need to be removed to install the FPR bracket then the factory brackets stack on top of the Comptech supplied bracket with the FPR! tip: Drill the mount holes on the Comptech bracket to make alignment easier by a couple of bit sizes, I think I drilled them with a 1/4 inch bit....
You really need a pic to help us out, I turned my FPR on the bracket so the line goes through the ABS lines facing forward instead of craming it into the brake booster



These are not great angles but if you look close you can see the supplied FPR line
