No, no.....the K&N recharge kit is for paper filters. The Comptech is foam and has its own specific cleaner/oil kit. Just order it from Comptech. It works great and gets the filter back to original condition pretty quickly.

NOOOOOOO........

the K&N filter recharge kit "IS NOT FOR PAPER FILTERS"

It is made for "Cotton Gauze Filters Only" , it will mess up and block airflow on a paper filter

I have used a K&N recharge kit on comptech foam filters before with no ill effects and no foam degradation over time.

Nick , you have P.M. I may have the filter you've been looking for.

Anybody know the exact dimensions of a Comptech filter for a supercharger airbox?

Ok....we may have been a little off base.

What we meant is, it's not for foam type filters like the Comptech.....I'll edit mine

The Comptech ID foam filter flange is 5 1/2 inches and is the the same dimension long. I may have to make a custom adapter if K&N can't find anything!

ok just got home from work.....ahhhh so tired but ok. Did lots of research on my break and even called comptech and k&n. The k&n can be used but you would rather want the thicker oil of the comptech since they are both diff materials. Its all aboutt weight. I was ablle to find a large can of uni foam oil and will spray her in a lil

Supposedly, an AFE 20-55507 filter will work in the comptech intake. The dimensions are: 5-1/2Fx 7Bx 4-3/4Tx 7H. I haven't had the motivation yet to order one and try it out.

You guys know that the foam filters do a better job than the K&N if oiled properly right... K&N filters are known for letting a lot of dust and dirt into the engine. They make power due to the space in the filter. I've always had better luck with foam filters.
