Hello, my friend has a Comptech Intake on his 01 S2000. It was used for a month and he is selling his car. Will the intake fit on my 2005 S2000? I look on websites and the intakes are always for 00-01 and 02-05. Please help. Thank you

 

I would think so because the motor basically the same for all AP1 and if it fit on AP2 I don't see why not.

 

You need to move your second horn. The '01 has only one horn. Your '02 has an extra one right where the airbox goes. The newer Comptech intake has a horn relocation kit. You can make your own.

Yeah its an easy fit, I have a '01 Comptech intake on my '02.

Yes, you have 2 horns, each one having a different tone and pitch. It's been shown that we our auditory senses can detect a dual tone sound far better than just a single tone.
The first one is the original single horn located in front of the rad. The one that was introduced in '02 is mounted on the fender next to the airbox.
