Default ? to Comptech S/C owners about the ESM.

Hey,
does anyone actually have the ESM(Electronic Signal Modifiers) from Comptech installed and running with it?
I have one on order and it will hopely be in my hand on this Saturday.
One owner that I did get to speak to say he likes it very much, but I didn't get any more info out of him.
I haven't been quite satisfied with the S/C and hopely this will change that.
I will post my report hopely over the weekends.

I believe there are a couple of people using a prototype of the finished product. It works VERY WELL. You will not regret using the ESM.

What if I don't have any problems now? My pocket book might regret it.

I was just curious if it might be something that I don't feel. I mean, if I don't feel hesitation, is the car being retarded just a bit and I don't feel it - is that possible?

I know what you mean, when I recently reinstalled the ESM because Comptech said it wasnt causing any problems I noticed a difference with the driveability and throttle response.

Well, if someone sends me something for free, I'll put it on. Also, I'm not too worried about it. We all know the stock ECU is the problem, and there's a solution (coming out) for that.

I also have ordered the ESM and should get it sometime next week. I will post my impressions when I get it installed.

Please note: I directly asked mikeB (in an email) about a discount on the ESM for current SC owners and he indicated there would probably be one. When I went to order online, I didn't see any selection for a discounted price so I called comptech. I talked to mikeB and he said there is a 25% discount for people that have the SC - the cost should be $112.46 (I think that's what it was).

If you did not get a discount, call them!
