Comptech SC Maintenance
I've got a few miles on myComptech SC now and I was told by Shad that when the belt can be twisted 90 deg. it should be adjusted. Am I remembering this correctly? If so, how to adjust?
Any other care/mtce issues I should be aware of?

On the installation manual specifies how tight must be the Belt. I do not remember which page is but it is only 10 pages manual

When I spoke to Shad regarding the same issue he told me it is difficult to over tighten the belt! he also gave me the " on the longest part of the belt (between the blower pulley and crank pulley) you should barely be able to turn the belt a 1/4 turn (90 degrees ) I felt this was too tight but my belt was slipping when I had it looser - I wonder how this will affect the blower bearings?
I recall the instructions said to leave room for .5 to .62 inches of indentation when pressure is applied at the longest stretch of the belt.
In my case this was slightly too tight and caused my bearings to sound fairly loud. When I called Comptech they gave another description, whereby twisting at the longest stretch shouldn't exceed 90 degrees, which is just about where I'm at now.
I've had no slipping issues where it's currently set. If I tighten it the noise comes back. Oh, and I found it is possible to over tighten, leaving less than .5 inches of room.
