Confirm MY2002 suspension changes
It's not uncommon to have different suspension calibrations for different markets. I've never been to the UK, but I hear that the streets and roads are very narrow, winding, and cambered compared to the US roads. I would not be surprised if Honda made changes to the UK-spec model to address the nearly universal comments in the UK press that the S2000 was a handful to keep out of the hedges. I also suspect that Honda left the US alone as it was winning constant praise; I have not read anything in the US press to say that Honda revised the US-spec suspension.
Measured the swaybars on my '02. I measured at several different points on each bar with a digital caliper and found varying results of +-.20mm. Measuring at the middle of the bars the front bar is 26.11mm or 1.048in and the rear bar is 27.35mm or 1.077in. Did a search but I could not find what the '00-'01 bars diameters are.

With the reduction in the front bar size I would bet the front spring rates on the '02 are higher than the earlier models.
