Confusing Compression Test Results
2005 S2000 with 190,000 miles and wanted to do a compression test just to see the current state of the motor.
Warm engine compression test yield: 215, 215, 215, and 240 on all three test.
Cold engine compression test yield: 185, 185, 185, and 240
Should I be concern with cylinder 1? Perhaps carbon buildup is why the compression remain 240 on cold n hot? What other method can I go about determine why cyl 1 is so high? Thanks!
