Shipping is a no go.. will have to look locally



just an idea though.. but 3k for a brand new block is tempting, too bad no one in so cal will sell it to me for that price.

Have your local dealer price match majestic. Then pick it up from them. They come by freight truck to the dealer.

i didn't even bother to ask my dealer.. they had a 15% off coupon that could be used toward genuine OEM parts, but said they would have to check with manager to see if that would apply to engine (I didn't get an answer because manager wasn't available).

the blocks are on back-order too.

I just recently bought a 2007 short block from my local dealership . I paid 2900$ for it shipped . It's sitting in my living room right now lol

Out of curiousity, I called my local Honda dealership today.. and they said only the bare block is available to purchase. complete assembly is back-ordered without an ETA.. so basically they wouldn't be able to process an order for a complete assembly. Not discontinued, but now nearly impossible to buy brand new.
