Convertible softtop bands

bolting on the 04 top now and I'm trying to figure out where those bands go the ones that hang down from 02-04 tops..

The bands go on the second bolt between the top and the metal retainer. I included a pic that shows they should go. Look for the red circle. Its the exact same on the drivers side.
