Default Convertible top and passenger window not working

Thanks in advance for any help....

I have a 00 s2k
I have been racking my brain over this issue for a while. My passenger window will no go down nor will my top. This happened all of a sudden a couple months ago. Both the top and passengers side windows will not work. First checked to make sure I didnt hit the dreaded window lock switch. I then attempted to retract the top to see if the windows would auto roll down. This did nothing. I checked the main 20amp fuse for both windows under the hood. I also checked both 20amp fuses under the dash for the windows motor power. I took both doors apart and checked the switches on both side. I checked the power plug on the passenger window motor with a multimeter while hitting both window switches and do not receive any voltage. I tried the convertable top controller reset by holding down the drivers side window switch for 10 seconds. I also unplugged and repluged both harnesses on the controller.

I found that the drivers side window will operate even with the convertible top controller disconnected. It seems that the main power feed goes directly to the motor for the drivers side but not the passengers side. After trying all this I would have to think its the convertible top controller that is bad.

If any one has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks guys.

Nahh, wish it was that easy. I think I am going to go ahead and order a new control module. Its the only thing I have left to check.

There was a TSB, I believe, for a controller on the earlier AP1. I had the same problem and it was changed under warranty. Problem solved.

Crap.....If so I just spent 160 bucks for nothing. They didnt mention that at the dealership the last time I took it in for the other recall issues. Thanks for the heads up anyway.....It will be worth the money to have my top working again.

I got the top fixed. It was the convertable top control module under the dash. I got a new one from coincelli auto. During normal operation of the passenger window and top you should hear a click come from this box under the passenger dash. I never noticed the sound before. Everthing is working now.
