Default Coolant capacity with a 'race' radiator?

I've got a Full Blown radiator on the way and was wondering how much coolant I need to pick up for the install? I plan to drain the block too.

I should know this off the top of my head...but don't remember exact amounts.

I'm running a Koyo radiator and recently had it completely drained.

I'm using a mix of about 75% distilled water and 25% antifreeze. I bought 2 gallons of water and 1 gallon of antifreeze (and 1 bottle Redline Water Wetter). That amount covered my fill with some left over.

Not sure if that helps you out.

I use less then 2 gal with mine. It is no that the rad holds much more water then stock, it is there is more cooling area.

When we drained the stock radiator and put in the FB one, it used about 1 and 3/4's of the honda jugs; it's about 1/2 a jug more than the stock radiator.

I did a rad change on a friend's S a couple weeks ago, I just kept putting coolant in trying to get it to squirt out of the top bleeder (one by the firewall). Normally with the OEM rad, I was able to get it to pour out of the top bleeder by just pouring in coolant, but with the bigger rad, I couldnt, so I had to keep massaging the rad hose to keep pushing in more until it filled up.
