Default coolant leak into 1st cylinder

my intake manifold has a tendency to loosen over the course of a month or so and allow coolant to seep into the first cylinder from the bleeder valve port on the head. i'm not using a hondata gasket either, it just happens for some odd reason. my question is can i fill the port in the head with gasket maker and effectively delete the bleeder valve and iacv without any drastic effects?

i don't want coolant exiting the head at all though because it gets sucked into cylinder 1 the moment the intake manifold gets loose at all. can i plug the port in the head with a little gasket maker? also, will the coolant system bleed properly without the valve?

If it gets properly torqued with a new gasket and both surfaces are clean you will not have ANY leaks.... I guarantee it's a matter of installation error.

that may be the case, but can i plug that port without any nasty consequences? this is a recurring problem no matter how i install the intake mani and i'm just tired of dealing with it.

put a nipple over the plug on the bleeder valve and anothe ron the throttle body. DO NOT put gasket maker into the bleeder port. coolant system will have no problem bleeding without the valve

i've used loctite, i've used nordlock washers, i've torqued to spec, i've torqued to spec and then retorqued 3 hours later, i've torqued to spec and retorqued and then heat cycled and retorqued....nothing works. it always comes loose and i start smelling/seeing coolant in the exhaust and i retorque it and it's fine for a month. capping the port on the intake manifold is not going to fix this problem.

the only thing i can think of is that i switched some of the bolts out for grade 8s. do the oem bolts stretch or something?

Sounds like you may need to have the mating surface of your IM decked.
