Coolant Leaking From....
So the other day I had noticed that my coolant was a tad low. I starting investigating why, and found some leaking coolant on the passenger side of the engine, just below the header. I thought, all of the coolant lines go to the heater above here, so one of the lines must be leaking, right? Wrong. It looks like they are all clean, and it is leaking from the block?
I attached 2 pics, its hard to tell in the one, but the Vin or enginer number plate is covered, and the other pic shows the hoses that look pretty good. Any ideas what this could be leaking from? Its a 2001 with low miles. Let me know if any other info or pics are needed.
Thanks,
Eric

The engine coolant drain is under the header. It's a bolt and washer, if the coolant has been replaced that's my guess. Also your valve cover gasket is seeping oil.
Also the coolant is 50/50 water antifreeze. The water will evaporate over time, that's why every few years of daily driving your reservoir tank level will drop slightly.

Unfortunately the drain bolt looks dry. I did find a wet spot using the lighted mirror. It looks like it's just to the back of the header near the engine number. I'm trying to find my exploded drawing, but anyone know where this might be coming from?
Thanks!
Thanks!
