Coolant for temporary use

Default Coolant for temporary use

So i'm rebuilding my head and didnt think to order the honda coolant and i'll have the car back together this weekend and i need something to use temporarily until my honda coolant comes in. So for a week at most. I know a while back i used water from the water hose in my truck, but i definitely wouldnt do this in my s2k. haha

really any autozone/walmart coolant will work fine for one week.

alright, also i was about to order coolant offline cause the nearest honda car dealership is 45 minutes away. but it'd be almost 50 shipped.

i remember billman posting something about using some coolant from honda motorcycle shop?

anyone know about that?

found his post, he mentioned Pro-Honda HP coolant from the cycle shop.

I use Prestone 50/50 in my 03S.Works fine.Changed every other year.

don't use the regular hose water. too many mineral deposits and could clog the radiator. go 100% distilled water from the grocery store.

lol. I have like 80% water in my turbo car and it runs perfectly fine.

Don't stress about what coolant to run. Seriously.
