04 with 76k. Runs perfect but have noticed two things. When I shut the car off it gives a left to right type shake that I can feel in the seat (with a little noise under the hood). Also if the RPM dips a little low say after giving some throttle in a drive thru it will make the same shake and noise. Makes me think its going to stall but power is fine its more the shake and noise at that lower RPM or during shut off.

This car is new to me so I'm note sure if it is normal - it was sitting in storage with little driving from previous ownership for about 6 years.

Any ideas?

 

You can check the motor mount by shining a light and looking for orange stains, the fluid in the mounts turns orange when it leaks and leaves orange stains.

You can also use a big pry bar on the shock tower and vtec solenoid bolt. If the mount is busted you should be able to lift the engine a bit, if it's good your engine will move less than an inch.
