Thumbs up Cruise Control Not Working

So, I'm having problems with the cruise control.

I already checked both fuses, and I've replaced the module itself.. still no go.

Anyone else have any idea's?

Any warning lights lit on the cluster? I know low brake fluid level will prevent you from activating the cruise control. Also check the cruise control actuator.

Where's the actuator at?

No warning lights or anything, fluids look fine.

Actuator is on the driver side, directly forward to the driver side strut mount in the engine bay. Its a black box with a throttle cable coming out of it. This is for a '01 AP1. Not sure if it is the same on all year S2000s.

You replaced it?
So you had to remove the plastic cover, wheel bolt (10mm), unhook the cable linkage, etc correct? Need more info from you here.

Alright. In that case make sure all the switches work: Cruise Main and Set. Did it ever work? I never heard a case about the cruise control system failing in the S2000.

Do a search for cruise control using the forum's search feature. There are several threads about it. There could be useful information regarding this.
