Default Cruise control removed

Just installed a custom radiator overflow tank and removed my cruise control unit to make room. I know I could relocate it but I never used it and it will be easy to reinstall. I already have a check engine light due to the gas cap issue and have a new gas flow tube on order. Just wanted to know for those of you who have removed the cruise control was there any side affects besides not having cruise control?

Thanks

Dumped it a few weeks ago as part of my Subway diet for the S, the car is much lighter now and feels as fast as a car with lots of stickers.

You'll have no problems. I don't have cruise control in my car either.

I think it was $120 to polish the valve cover.

you shouldnt have any problems other than if/when you go on long trips, you're going to wish you had it, otherwise you're good.
