I'm not so sure that one should cryo treat anything. A buddy of mine races a 911 RS almost everyweakend. He went the cryo route on his rotors and a few other little peices, after a weekend of races he tore his brakes and found extensive cracks throughout the rotor.

On the other side of thing, VW/Porsche people like me have been cryotreating our type 1/4 motor parts for years and I have never heard of any troule.

Your friend's cryo-treated rotors didn't happen to be cross-drilled as well, did they?

No they were not which is what confused me the most. And the RS is nice, I will own that car one day. He intends to get a GT 2 in the next few years so I am on the list for his RS.

It's a 93 with well al sorts of fun stuff, the suspension on this car is just trick, no rubber all bearings. Motors stock but the thing just moves, I love it would trade my porsche for it in a heartbeat.
