I got an idea.....

I was looking for a cheap, light, good looking exhaust and I want to sell my current exhaust; HKS Hyper exhaust dual canisters.

First I was thinking in buying a used speed N1 and then sell the HKS

The mainly problems are:

1. I am living in Spain and shipping is a pain and some members does not want to ship to the "far east"
2. Titanium is very expensive
3. Get some extra HP from a exhaust=====> impossible!!

So I decided to make some modifications to my current Exhaust and I need your inputs.

The HKS comes in 4 parts, I will keep the resonator the other pieces is which I am going to costumizev(This part weights about 35 lbs)

BTW THIS IS NOT MY EXHAUST I TOOK THIS PICTURE FORM SOMEONE'S ALBUM

This is would be te final result

My concerns is:

1. is the S2000_Europe's exhaust going to be too loud, or is going to have a similar Db than the original HKS?
2. How much weight reducction?
3. Would be free flow enough?

Seriousley if you want a single exit exhaust go buy one as you may end up chopping the HKS to pieces and ruining it, then you would have to go out and buy another exhaust anyway.........

I would just sell you current HKS hyper and put the money towards shipping one from Japan like RS*R 'very good' that shouldn't cost you too much!!!

My concern is that it will be too restrictive w/ only one muffler/ one exit. Each muffler is designed to flow only half as much air as the engine expels. So if you close the other one, your exhaust system will only be able to flow half as much as it was capable of.

Try this: Stick a potato in ONE of your exhaust tips. Drive around. How does it sound? Can you feel a loss of power? If so, this would be a BAD idea, and you should sell your HKS exhaust to me for the price of shipping only

Hope this works!
