hi all, trying to diagnose a problem in my engine. the OBDII code says misfire in cylinder 1. hope its just a bad ignition coil.

my question is is cylinder #1 closest to the firewall or closest to the nose of the car. thanks!

Misfire does not necessarily mean no spark. Could also be no fuel (faulty injector or signal wire) or no compression.
