The search function can take a little time, but it works well - please use it.

Lots of posts on the site that cover this. There is zero gain HP/Torque, possibly a very slight loss. There's a small weight savings: ~6lbs.

DC is OK for Civics and other Sport Compacts - not so good for the S2000. The S2000 is highly optimized from the factory and it takes a well developed header to make any gains. The best ones on the market are the Toda, Amuse, Spoon, Mugen, and Comptech. The most expensive ones are the ones that give the largest gains and are typically the 4-2-1 designs. Toda probably gives the best bang for the buck ... if you consider 1 Grand a good deal. The Amuse header is the lightest and has gains similar or greater than the Toda header, but is very expensive.

The largest gains are in the midrange with little in the top end with any of the top shelf headers. The largest gains are around 7 HP, in the midrange. The largest claims for top end gains are 3-4HP.

- I don't see a point on getting ANY header for this car...
- the DC does not gain anything... but oh well I have one because, well... I just have one

Mugen/Toda/Amuse...and hopefully Ricks...all show good midrange gains...not the best hp/$ but if you want to stay N/A...your gonna want them.

um, short answer, yup. It's been plotted at times to actually lose HP, and it's not because it's improving the curve elsewhere either. It's just a cheep design. DCs are great on other hondas... I think they skimped on the development of the s2000 though...
