Chris,

This is probably a "doh" question, but are the TAITEC rails compatible with the stock seats? I'm assuming that if they are, they would mount those seats lower. I like the idea of a bolt-in solution to lowering the stocks seats, since I'm not a believer in messing around with things like seat mounts, which my life may depend upon. <g>

Tim - if you are looking to lower the stock seat, stay tuned for the new version of the faq. or else... aftermarket seat rails, like the ones that Chris sells, and like the ones I sell, are only for side-mount seats.

According to an email exchange with King Motorsports a few months ago, Mugen was supposed to be developing a seat for us "larger" Americans to be available later this year. I haven't followed up so I don't know if the idea ever got out of the development stage.

The seats in the DC5R are the Recaro SR5
The Seats that came in the DC2R and EK9 (CTR) are the SR3
This Link shows Both the SR3 and SR5 you can see how the SR5 is basically an SR3 with some minor changes.

As far as putting them in an S2000 shouldnt be a problem, Just find a Bracket for the S2000 to fit SRD SR3 SR5 etc. I am pretty sure they have one available in the US for the SRD seats in an AP1
